Hand-drawn sketch by Norris Podetz for use of CMTF2
Many of us have taken photographs of Century Manor (the main building), forgetting that there are a group of buildings at the back. These buildings, although much smaller than the Manor, have beautiful brickwork, windows, and details. Are we forgetting about these, and focusing on the main building only? I once worked for a masonry contractor, and only the older, more experienced bricklayers were allowed to work on buildings with the intricate brickwork that these buildings have. We called those men craftsmen. Not a good idea to throw the work away that was done by craftsmen over a century ago.

A very thoughtful comment. I and others will hopefully take pictures of these buildings and get more information on them.
